I had the pleasue of meeting John and am still in the process of reading his book. John, I think what you have written and who you have become through your stuggles is just amazing! I hope to be just like you when I finally self actualize! Do we ever do that?

Your analogy of your hike to Turtlehead Peak is great. We really do need the rocky and strenuous "hikes" in life to make us stronger and better. You have a great perspective of adversity John.

PERFECT CIRCLES
I found John Michael Stuart’s book Perfect Circles to be the most insightful well written book on the subject I’ve ever read. I grew up with “The Magic of Believing”, “The Power of Positive Thinking,” “Think and Grow Rich” etc. I’ve read all of Robert Fulghum’s books and have great respect for all these authors and many others. I’ve read “The Road Less Traveled,” “The Peter Principle” and “The Prescription.” You might say I’m a positive thinking self-help junkie.
John Michael has a beautiful command of the English language. He is able to communicate to the reader with unmistakable clarity the importance and doability of self acceptance. He helps the reader accept the value of adversity, get past wasting resentments and on with life. James C. Hill DDS USC 1972

This is NOT my style of book and yet I read it cover to cover.
Not only a good read; but a MUST read to better understand yourself and the times.
